Job Description

Lonnie's and Inga's hiring LEAD SOUS/CDC available immediately and geared to long term working relationships

Come cook, lead and learn together with us!

Lonnie's and Inga's are busy neighborhood joints in Boerum Hill and Brooklyn Heights. We're having fun and serving a seasonal, often-changing, well-sourced menu paired with natural wine and fantastic cocktails. Our top priority is taking care of a stellar staff in an employee-focused, healthy environment. This role is a perfect fit for a working sous chef who has experience on expo, someone thrilled by the challenges of a busy service who can inspire others to lean in, and a scratch cook passionate about simple food done extremely well.

There's tremendous potential for growth.

What we're looking for:

• Someone who wants to work services, not just survive them
• Full-time, and yes — you need weekend availability
• A good attitude. We work hard and we laugh a lot. Miserable people make miserable food.
• Someone who wants to grow and is excited to teach. Our restaurants have low turnover and being chef-owned, we promote having a kitchen staff that feels taken care of long term.

What you'll get: a staff we actually take care of, a kitchen that's organized instead of chaotic, and coworkers who are as into this as you are.

Send a resume and a real cover letter — tell us why Inga's, specifically. Not a form letter cut and paste, please. We read them.

Thanks — hope to hear from you.
